Workshop: Mind the Gap! Supporting self-regulation with the Mindful Minute
This workshop will be an introduction to the research and practicality of using mindfulness with children across the EYFS age range to support attention and self-regulation. It will explore how, what started out as an action research project has now become firmly embedded in the practice of our setting. It will also look at the way Mindfulness has the potential to enhance the confidence and agency of practitioners to support children’s developing self-regulation skills and provide some practical ideas to take away. Please bring an empty 500ml plastic bottle (with a lid) if you can, and an open mind. No incense or gongs, I promise!
